The primary direction of the Garland Fraternal Order of Police, Lodge #68 is to benefit the members of the Garland Police Department. The lodge will permit the membership of officers, and public service personnel so that they may benefit from the legal protections available to all Fraternal Order of Police, Lodge #68 members. All prospective applicants must submit application into the Lodge and upon acceptance every member of Lodge #68 shall be a member of the Texas Labor Council. All applications for membership must be submitted for approval by the membership board. The membership board will forward all approved applications to the executive board, at which time a two-thirds vote of those members in attendance at the next regularly scheduled meeting will be required before any personnel will be permitted to join. |
